Sunny f16 = Moon light f8

I shot this, today moring around 6:30 am standing in our backyard, camera mounted on a tripod. With 300 mm (which is actually 480 mm on digital body) the moon was not even 15% in the frame. I croped all that black - under exposed sky in cs3. For comparision, below is the wide shot with landscape from the same spot. When the sky and the grass are exposed correctly the moon is, actually, looking like the sun.

ISO 100 - Manual mode - f8 @ 1/100 - Focal length 300 with 75-300.

This is the wide shot at the same time, from same spot.

ISO 100 - Mode: AE - f9 @ 5" - focal lenght 40 with 17-40L.
